Tangled Earbuds

13”x17” Watercolor and paint pens on paper

This piece was originally intended to reflect the conflicting feelings that come with the beginning of an end. This Piece was among the last works I knew I was going to create in high school as a senior, and, at the beginning of the year, it was difficult for me to process all of the different directions that I was being pulled in.

Ultimately, “Tangled Earbuds” is a reflect of my own personal conflict with moving to the next chapter of life. The pop art shapes, lines, and dots are meant to add another level of forceful internal tension that goes otherwise unseen.
